Your Language Provider in Central Cologne

Based in Cologne, GlobalTech Translations is run by Mr. Fayçal Alami Hassani. After graduating in Translation and Interpreting at the University of Granada in 2005, Mr. Fayçal Alami Hassani moved to Germany in order to study German at the Universities of Jena and Weimar, and later attended several seminars on Computational Linguistics at the University of Stuttgart. In 2018, he successfully completed his Master's degree in Technical Communication and Localization at the University of Strasbourg. During the same year, he earned his certification as a Technical Communicator from the German Association for Technical Communication (tekom).

His interest for a variety of theoretical subjects such as logic, algorithms and formal languages helped him to acquire the necessary know-how in the computing field. This knowledge is reinforced by years of practical experience with further research in the relevant topics and continuous development of terminological databases. Fayçal Alami Hassani is also a committed user and a big fan of anything related to GNU/Linux systems, from A like „awk“ to Z like „zgrep“. His affinity for computing inevitably led him to explore specific areas such as electronics, processor technology and computer structures. This knowledge has proven to be of great benefit when handling projects related to PLCs, control circuits or sensors. In his spare time, Fayçal Alami Hassani contributes to various FOSS projects such as the Freifunk network or the GNU project, which is an initiative of the Free Software Foundation.

Besides its focus on legal and technical translations, GlobalTech Translations also provides a wide range of associated services such as interpreting, localization and technical documentation. GlobalTech Translations is committed to providing you with a high-quality service that suits your particular needs. Localizing your content allows you to reach an international audience by addressing language and cultural differences and misunderstandings. The focus on a limited number of fields is beneficial for both parts. On the one hand, the translator can concentrate on his areas of expertise and expand his knowledge in the corresponding fields. On the other hand, the customer benefits from the extensive experience of a supplier with a sound linguistic background and an up-to-date knowledge of the relevant subjects.
